To fully enjoy your fragrance and all its facets, apply it to both your skin and clothes.

Why?

A fragrance's composition reacts differently when warmed by your skin's temperature and unique chemistry. Cool clothes that are not warmed by the heat of our body do not heat up the perfume, it will not interact with your skin's chemistry and, as a result, other sides of the fragrance will be revealed to you. As you move, you will catch whiffs of the trail that comes from the fragrance on your skin and clothes. This creates interesting combinations and will reveal new facets and nuances of the fragrance.

A quick note: be careful with some fragrances as they can stain fabric. Before applying it to your favorite blouse, try spritzing a little on a handkerchief and check to see if the fragrance leaves any stains.
