Cashmere 羊绒衫 is indeed a comfortable autumnal sweater, especially if you appreciate musk as the representative of such a cashmere sentiment.

The opening is a burst of warm, inky musk, resembling a cross between The Body Shop’s White Musk and Kiehl’s Original Musk, accompanied by a hint of what I would describe as roasted sunflower seed dust. This unique effect may be attributed to ambrette, which imparts a fluffy, volumizing quality. Soon, a blend of floral soap, waxy, powdery aldehydic notes mixes with a subtle sweetness oscillating between dried autumn leaves and something reminiscent of Christmas spices, albeit without the sugary or gingerbread vibe. Despite these elements, the overall scent maintains a sense of coolness or even moisture, or at the very least, a non-drying quality.
