I was curious about this scent based on the notes; it seems like it could be busy/overloaded, but it is so beautifully balanced. I enjoy all of Jorum Studio’s works, even the scents I don’t like on myself I can appreciate as well-crafted with a clear and interesting story. The opening for me has a bit of bracing mintiness, before settling into an enveloping comfort of what I imagine the inside of a whiskey barrel might be, minus any smoke. Lasts well on my skin, over 12 hours. If you like Lune Feline as I do, you might want to give this one a try. Though they differ in notes they remind me of one another in…mood, I guess? If you are worried about the ylang-ylang, it isn’t so much present to my nose, at least not in the way that I typically dislike.
