I have nothing bad to say about anything from kerosene. What a fantastic perfume house. Summer of 84 is just a citrusy olfactory experience. It’s summer in a bottle . I hope to own a full size of this one along with several others by Kerosene

This fragrance reminds me of Squirt soda lol I absolutely love it! Summer in a bottle!

it’s definitely vanilla but its kind of boring with no projection. however the dry down is LOVELY. very sugary skin scent.

i LOVED this scent. most people like pairing it with Paris Corner’s marshmallow scent and thats a good combo but i just loved it with Kayali Rock Candy Sugar. it is so sweet! only downside was it did not last long on me.

i will always give this shop 5 stars because it has saved me so many blind buys. this scent however was a miss for me. it is WAY more green than expected. the violet leaves are very prominent on my skin. very sharp. the dry down is more enjoyable but still too green for me. it’s also more masculine than i expected.

Ellis Brooklyn Guava Granita

Love at first sniff

I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Specifically because I despise guava as a fruit/flavor. But I heard lots of great things so figured it wouldn't hurt. Forget Kayali (just kidding), THIS is vacay in a bottle. Very tropical and yummy without being syrupy, nausea-inducing. It dries down to a beautiful sweetness that isn't loud - but is still beyond a skin scent. I worried about the banana note since I also don't like bananas, but honestly I don't pick it up at all. It just smells - I don't know - Tropical! And thankfully this is one I enjoyed from start to finish. It's been so hard to find scents recently that I'm not bearing thru rhe opening just to get to the dry down or loving the opening but womp-womp about the base.

But if you hate sweet at all...just don't. For me it was a big win and a full bottle is already en route.

Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar 42

SO SO SO GOOD! Its sugary, sweet, and yet grown up. i couldn’t stop smelling my wrist all day and the dry down did last almost an 8 hour day on me. it wasn’t strong but it was a skin scent by hour 8. also, the base has something about it that reminds me of original Jean Paul Gaultier Classique with a very enjoyable sweet sugary twist. I will definitely be buying a full bottle of this and Coty Chanson d’eau Vanilla.

i will always give this shop 5 stars no matter what because i have saved so much money on impulse buying. as far as the fragrance itself goes this one is a miss for me. 1 star out of 5. i don’t know exactly what it is but there is too much going on with this scent. it smells cheap to me, like a bad body spalsh from childhood. also, gave me a headache minutes later.

5 stars because i know my review is subjective and i just love this shop but this particular scent itself is more like a 3 star out of 5. this is no reflection of this shop. i am glad i ordered a sample before buying all the hype. yes, its a gourmand vanilla but for whatever reason it didn’t perform very well on me. to be honest the honey is a very prevalent note and I’m not too big on honey scented fragrances.

oh my gosh this scent is nostalgic and lovely. if you’re a millennial then you know that cotton candy & pear had us in a chokehold! this brings back so many memories. it smells like a grownup version of the now discontinued VS Noir Tease which had iced pear. the DNA of this perfume body is very similar to Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar 42; a sweet sugary opening drying down into a soft musky base but a very pleasant light musk. i cant wait to see how this does in the late summer.

Full Bottle Worthy

I love having access to services like this to try new scents I wouldn't have access to otherwise. The vast majority are fun to smell but only a time or three have I decided that I loved the decant so much, I needed a full bottle. But this one was an immediate order. I've smelled all the Khamrahs. They all smell similar but this is by far my fave, then Qawah, then the OG. This one is much less aggressive than the others - to me. Thw OG was too tangy and spicy. This has a spice but it isn't super heavy in my opinion. I also didn't get the almost beast mode longevity I normally get from Lattafa scents but I feel like once this sits and matures - it won't be an issue.
